We partner with SECURELY who is an accredited provider of medical alarms by the Ministry of Social Development and a member of the Telecare Services Association NZ (TSANZ).

In Home Medical Alarms
Securely's In-Home Alarm consists of a pendant (which can be worn around your neck or on
your wrist), and a main alarm unit that plugs into your home power socket (no landline
required). The main alarm unit has batteries as a backup, so it continues to provide safety
even during power outages. It is well suited to Kiwi’s who spend most of their time in the
comfort of their own home.
The In-Home Alarm costs $35 a fortnight if self-funded & includes GST, lease of equipment & 24/7 monitoring.

Anywhere Medical Alarms
The alarms in Securely's Anywhere range are wearable distress alarms with cellular and GPS
technology. They are well suited to Kiwi’s that like to get out and about, providing an extra
layer of safety as wearers go about their day-to-day lives. We like to think of this range as
peace of mind in the wearers pocket.
Anywhere Alarms start from $85 a month & includes GST, lease of equipment & 24/7 monitoring.

Monitoring
SECURELY's Levin based monitoring Center operates 24/7 and answers SOS calls within seconds. Tailored response plans can be drawn up specific to your needs.
In December 2021, Securely answered 6208 high priority activations with an average response time of 14 seconds.
Care@Home -"Family" APP
With the Care@Home FAMILY app you can stay connected with your loved ones without checking in with them each day. Giving everyone the freedom to live their best lives.
Carers and Whanau can receive tailored daily activity updates by text message.
The FAMILY system is designed to do two things:
Enable people to remain at home longer with a safety net that consists of a medical alarm, an APP that allows you to monitor activity in real-time, with 24/7 monitoring in the event of an emergency. Additional equipment can be added, for example, an emergency response pendant. Medical alarm pendants occur an additional cost.
Provide peace of mind to family members who worry about their loved one, particularly if they live alone, and the knowledge that your loved one is moving around, eating & drinking & using the bathroom, with “expected levels of activity” determined by rules you set

Monitored Smoke detectors
SECURELY offer the ability to connect monitored smoke detectors to their medical alarms. This can add an additional layer of support, particularly for those in Cognitive decline or with an Intellectual Disability.
A monitored smoke detector will raise an alert to SECURELY's monitoring centre who will know on their screens that a smoke alarm has been activated. The standard process would be to call the person and see if the situation is significant. If it is or the monitoring staff get no answer, they will phone fire services and the contact person on the system for that person.
If you are worried that someone might leave a pot on a stove or struggle to leave their property independently during a fire, a monitored smoke detector might give you peace of mind and keep the person you care for safe.
